The vertical flame furnace (horseshoe flame furnace) glass tank furnace is widely used in the current production of daily glass products. It includes: the glass melting section, the heat supply section, the waste heat recovery section, and the flue gas air supply section. First, preheated air is provided by the flue gas air supply section and enters the regenerator chamber. The hot air then enters the melting section of the glass melting part, where two small furnaces in the heat supply section generate a horseshoe-shaped flame to provide heat. This heat melts the batch materials and cullet added from the feeding tank into molten glass. After clarification and partial cooling in the working section, the molten glass enters the feeding trough. Product forming usually uses the drop method: molten glass drips from the end of the feeding channel, then is cut into droplets by a special scissors and placed into the steel mold of the forming machine for shaping. Electro-fused zirconia corundum AZS is an irreplaceable core material required for this furnace.
